The Balloon Races

We love the balloon races! We look forward to them every year.

Like last year, we hiked up a hill on Keystone Canyon and watched the balloons from the hillside. This is good because we still get to see all the awesomeness of the balloons and we stay out of the crowds.

The Smokey balloon went right over us and landed on the other side of the hill. When we walked down the other side we saw this.

By the time we made it down to the car (Smokey was right next to the parking lot) he was deflated and they were putting him away. We watched them work for a little while, the girls were fascinated. Except Caylee, she was just made that Smokey was gone...
