Grovers Waterfall Hike 2011

Ah yes, the Grover's Hike. We do this every year (2010, 2009).

This year was double the fun because my parents were here too!

Heres the whole gang getting ready to go.

Elise and Braelyn are becoming quite the BFFs.

We have to jump off every rock we walk by.

Love love love love love this picture.

They discovered the power of walking sticks.

Once we got up to the falls and water hole we had lunch and went for a dip (well, some of us). It wasnt very high since we went at the end of the season this year. But it was still plenty cold!

The Greenburg Men jumped in right away. Then quickly got out...

I asked Bret, "Is it colder than Tahoe?"
This was his reply.

The kids wanted in too, but only for short periods of time.

Caylee walked all the way up to the waterfall by herself and she walked about half of the way back. Crazy kid. We would try to help her on the rocks and she would push our hands away and say, "Im fine, Im fine."
And she was, she did great.

Sue Sue liked the method of sliding down the rocks on her rear end.

And when we needed to cross the river, we played "pass the kid" across.

We had a lot of fun!
