Our Big Girl Goes to Kindergarten

Now, I may be wrong, but Im pretty sure our Alaina JUST looked like this:

But now she is FIVE and looks like this:
Ready to go to her first day of kindergarten here:

I really need to have a talk with these kids about growing up! Dont they know its naughty?!

Alaina and Braelyn were so excited for Alaina's first day!
Sue got a backpack too, just to feel like she belongs:)

Cay was pretty stoked as well.

Lining up against the wall for school to start,
someone looks a little nervous.

Nope, not this one.

She got in the classroom and put her pretty new shiny sparkly pink princess backpack in her cubby.

Then sat down at her desk.

Then sang a song.
Thats her teacher, Mrs. Durio. Super nice.

Then read a story.

Then got a name tag and came to give me a hug and tell me goodbye.

Geez, next thing you know she'll be DRIVING!

Congrats on your first day Alaina. You did great. And so did I! How can I cry when Im happy for you to start a new adventure?!
