Conversations with a Little Girl

Yesterday while Bret and his Dad were working on the tile in the kitchen, Braelyn and I headed outside to play for a little while. I pushed her on the swing for a little bit and then we played in the dirt a little bit then we just sat lazily on the swings and talked. We had some fun conversations.

B-Braelyn M- Mommy (or Jamie to most:)

She was digging in the dirt:
B- Mom, Im making a garden.
M- Oh yeah, whats in your garden?
B- Carrots, watermelon, pears and lions!

M- Do you know what you want to be for Halloween yet?
B- Yeah, a doctor.
M- Oooo, a doctor. What kind of doctor?
B- A shots doctor.
M- A shots doctor, that sounds fun. What clothes would you wear?
B- A white thing (I think she meant a coat) and I would carry shots.
M- Well yeah youre a shots doctor. Would you have a stethoscope?
B- (nods head)
M- And a thermometer?
B- (nods head) And a watermelon.

B- Last night I was scared in my room!
M- Oh no, why were you scared?
B- There was a noise and it was swiper!
M- Swiper? Was he going to hurt you?
B- No, it was just Alaina snoring.

This little girl makes me laugh.
