Date Night

While we were in Carson last week Nolan and Susan offered to watch all the kids so all us young married folk could go out on a date.

We decided to go bowling.

Um....Im not the best bowler.

But I did do better the next game!
Bret did awesome at breaking a hundred twice. Hey, dont judge:)

Then we went to Johnny Rockets for shakes. Yum.

I had chocolate (tasted a lot like Hershey's Syrup to me...)

And Bret had Strawberry Banana, which was really good.

Then we went on a walk down by the river. Mesquitos gallore. As we were walking in we saw all these wild horses running by.

We started down the trail and saw a big group of people up ahead in the middle of the road,
they were looking at this:

The horses had stopped near the trail and people were watching them. Everyone eventually left but us and I snapped a couple pictures of these beautiful animals.
Then...they went CRAZY! Well, one went crazy and stirred all the others up. He was kicking his friends and bitting them and running over the babies.
It was madness!
Then they started charging everywhere.
This was scary.
We stood very still and tried not to make them afraid of us...or really even notice us. We backed away from all the scary horses slowly, then made our escape.
I had my eye out for those crazies for the rest of our walk.
Never know when one of those beasts will charge out of the bushes at ya.

Anyway, there was a very pretty sunset.

And our night out came to a close.
It was nice (except the almost being trampled part).
I love my hubby and love spending any time with him, especially one on one time.
Thanks Nolan and Susan!
