The Year of the House

In February of 2010, we bought our first house. It was a fixer upper, to say the least.

Because of this, 2010 was The Year of the House.
I know I havent posted much about the house...here and there I guess. I thought because 2010 is over, and it was indeed the Year of the House, that I should post some pictures of the house.
So here are the befores and durings, since most of the rooms arent all the way done yet. Mostly the family room and kitchen. The bathrooms havent even been started yet.

Here is the kitchen when we moved in.
Scrapping off all that wallpaper was a nightmare bytheway.
Oh the memories this post is bring me!

Obviously, its not done. The register is missing, there is no baseboard...and its not decorated. Oh, and there will be can lights instead of the bright blinding brass lights from the 70s.

This really has nothing to do with this post, but I just made it and I loooooove it.
Its in the kitchen though, so it kinda relates....

This is pretty much the girls' play room. Which is nice!

This room isnt done, not by a long shot. But I do have some cute stuff on the walls.

Here is Bret's Man Hole. Id call it a "man cave", but its not big enough...so its just a hole.
Its not done either.

The only rooms that are completely done are the living room, Caylee's room and the hallway, and thats not even a room!

So there you go. There is what our house looks like currently, and how far its come in just 11 months.

We start the bathrooms this month:)
