Today Alaina and her classmates tie dyed t-shirts for future field trips. Though, Im not sure it was a great use of class time....they had fun.
When we volunteer in her class, Braelyn always has a good time playing with Alaina and her friends. Today, though, it seemed she was just trying to keep up :)

Alaina did the "swirl" method and used pink, blue, purple and yellow.
She thought it was pretty fabulous.
Caylee didnt have an opinion on the matter.

it's a great use of school time-generates comraderie, group identity, freedom, inspiration, creativity, time management, social skills, a finished product created by them,and you are outdoors!, and it's fun-if at this age they don't think school is fun, and that it is fun to learn you have lost them forever
