Peas and Thank You

I was outside with the girls yesterday and took the time to actually look around my yard. Its gross, with no grass and a lot of weeds, but there are also a lot of beautiful things around too.

Like all these rose bushes.

Hello spider.

I check on my garden everyday. The other day I bent down close to examine the peas and saw they were growing. Actual Peas!!! I was so excited.
They have gotten bigger and more of them are coming in. Bret ate one yesterday and said it tasted pretty yummy (those werent his exact words:)

The other things are growing alright. I think the peas came in sooner because we had to replant everything but the peas and the strawberries when it froze over Memorial Day. Dont get me started...I will mourn all over again. We lost so much. But, what was left and what we have replanted are growing well. We have this one really huge cauliflower plant, and all the others are puny. I wonder why.

We have this huge giagantic rose bush on the side yard.

So pretty!

We have four peony bushes too. They were in full bloom a couple weeks ago but didnt take a picture. I love these.

Our yard is a magical place.

You really do have lots of nice plants and pretty flowers in your yard. Someone must have really cared at one time.
