Oak Grove

While visiting Daniel, we headed out to have a picnic in Oak Grove, which is just up the road from them in Hurricane. The first thing the girls wanted to do when we got there was go on a hike. So we did. We hiked to a big tree.
Caylee lead the way.

The we headed back and had a little barbecue lunch.

This is how Maddie rolls.

My Dad was driving the xterra, can you tell?
Gosh, it looks like its going to eat our little accord!

All six granddaughters. Most of them eating their hotdogs. Yum.

This is Braelyn's sad-pathetic-I cant-believe-you-told-me-no look.

And this is her making her Daddy proud.

Caylee wanted to try too.

Then we headed down to the creek. The water was pretty cold, but Sue couldnt get enough of it.

Then my Mom tried really really hard to push my brother in. No success though. Darn, that would have been hilarious.

This is how Cay spent her time at the creek.

Alaina thought the water was nice, but she didnt want to go in it so much. It was super cold after all. She did put her feet in for a second though.

Then I dropped my camera in the creek. Good thing there were two other people taking pictures. Both with super nice cameras too!

When there arent any rocks around, why not climb up a tree? He would have gone farther, but he doesnt like climbing down the tree. Well, sure, thats not nearly as fun.

I love this little chubby girl.

Oh Sue Sue. The hearts youre gonna break...

Where did it go?!

I adore the freckles. Such a beautiful kid.

Oh Oak Grove, you were good memories.
