Over Memorial Day this year we spent the whole weekend on the house:) We are working hard on the family room to finally get it done! This room will be where we spend most of our time. Its where the toys will be, the computer and things like that.
One of the big things that needed to be done in this room is replacing the sliding glass door. The geniuses that installed the last one put it in backward. Yes, backward. We couldnt lock it (well, we could be we had to use a pad lock and a weird bolt thing). Anyway, needless to say, it had to go. And, if you have the Lowes people install your sliding glass door for you, its another 600 big ones on top of the price of the door!! Whhhaaaa?
So, to save some serious dough, we, okay, Bret, okay Bret and his Dad, did it themselves.
It took the whole day. It was good times.
