Christmas Tree Hunt

Last Saturday we went out to Spooner and cut down our Christmas Tree:) I love this tradition and every year is a new adventure. I love sitting down with our family and talking about Christmas Tree hunts of Christmases past. This year was pretty easy going. It was just really really cold. We didnt come completely prepared because some plans changed, but it was still fun. Nolan (Bret's Dad) actually found our tree. Susan and Bret went down to look at it and it was only like 4 feet tall, so we thought it would be a perfect fit for our teeny tiny (stress inducing, cramped, claustrophobia's nightmare, cluttered) apartment. So Bret cut it and hauled it down the hill. By this time Alaina and Braelyn were freezing so we all went to the car, turned on the heat, and waited for Papa and Grandma to find their perfect tree. It was short and sweet...and a nice memory.

Down it goes!

Hes so buff.
(This picture was taken from the inside of the car, yeah Im the wimpiest of them all when it comes to being cold!)

Waiting with a tired baby.

Good times! Now for the best part...decorating it!! Stay tuned:)

We wrote about the same things - how funny! However, we have zero pictures of anything to do with Thanksgiving. So, thanks for taking such cute ones :) I think that the Waste plant/Prison walk was probably one of the best parts about Thanksgiving (besides seeing family), if only because it's such a funny story to tell. I'm glad to see that someone is wearing that scarf I made, it's pretty hideous, but not bad for my first try :) And, lastly, it looks like the Christmas tree hunting experience was fun :) It was great seeing you all and Elise keeps asking to go to Tio's house and where Alaina & Braelyn are.
