Pacifier Update-
Braelyn has been doing really well without her pacifier and I haven't given in either!! The first day she cried for about 15 minutes then fell asleep for both her nap and for bedtime. The second day she cried for about 5. The only thing right now is she is more clingy and she wont sleep as long. Usually she takes 2-3 hour naps, lately they are 30 minutes to an hour. She also wakes up earlier in the morning. My friend said this should go away though.
Trips-
Bret and Alaina left Braelyn and I at home this weekend to see Rand and Carolyn. They left Friday afternoon with Bret's dad, Nolan. Michael is being blessed this Sunday so they will be there for that. I'm sad I couldn't go but it would have been a horrible drive for me. And if Braelyn went it would have been a horrible drive for us all. This is the first time Bret has left me alone at home. I've left him lots of times, but its a different story when I'm the one left at home. I know how Bret felt all those times now!! Braelyn and I are keeping busy though. I forgot how easy it is to have only one kid.

Thanks for putting up with it, though - we appreciated having them up here :) I miss your little girls! Alaina was so funny - besides informing everyone that Elise was her "cousin friend," not just her cousin. I was talking to her about the prophet, because we the subject came to general conference. She told me that it was not President Monson anymore, so I assumed she thought it was still Pres. Hinckley and had the two confused. She said, "No, tia, it's Pres. Obama, now" - like I had no clue what was going on in the world. She was adorable, and tell her we miss her and love her (esp. Elise, whose been asking to play with Papa and Alaina). We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
