On our first Mommy Alaina Day we went to the Sacramento Zoo.
On our second we went to the movies, Wendy's for lunch, and Build-a-Bear.
This year when I asked Alaina what she wanted to do for Mommy Alaina day she said she wanted to:
Go to Build-A- Bear (very original, I think it might become a tradition)
Go to Chuck E Cheese
Go to the Carson Children's Museum
Go get ice cream
So because one of the points of Mommy Alaina Day is to spoil her slightly and make her feel special, we did all those things. We had a great time and I was exhausted by the time we were half way done. But I had a cheer leader.
I love our day together and am grateful for my sweet little Alaina. Here are some pictures.
Getting ready to go.

At Build-a-Bear, putting the heart in the bunny she picked.

She picked a cute dress and named her new bunny Kayla. Last year it was a dog dressed like a ballerina named Chloe. Alaina was excited Chloe can have a friend now.

Then we went to Chuck E Cheese and she played the games and rode the rides. This one was her favorite. It just went in a circle.

Nasty pizza...seriously.

Then we went to the Children's Museum. This is her playing doctor. Look at the size of the needle!!!!!

Dress up stage 1: graduate (love the pose)

Her favorite thing at the museum is the play grocery store. She loved to shop for the food and even had a pretty good idea of how much things cost! Except I did pay 6.00 for a loofa.

Astronaut in training.

Where she really belongs.

Dress up stage 2: Bride (love the shoes)

After all that we went to get ice cream at McDonalds. They happened to have a play place there so Alaina also got to play in that.
Do you see her?

It was a fabulous day, I look forward to Mommy Braelyn Day in the fall and of course, Mommy Alaina Day 2010.

Yay, that sounds like a lot of fun. So you do it once a year?
I think this is such a good idea!! I am glad you guys had so much fun.
Umm, is her little animal named after Linda's daughter? So cute! That museum looks like the one in Vegas, Lieds. Do you remember that place? Anyway, looks like fun. I noticed the nice big jackets, it's pretty cold in Reno, huh?
What a fun idea!!! I love it!
Ah, you are such a cute mommy!
