Idaho

A couple weeks ago we all headed up to BYU- Idaho to help Rand and Carolyn pack and move, oh... and celebrate Rand graduating with his bachelors in English!! Congrats Rand!

We were pretty busy helping the whole time, but one of the nights we were able to get away and head over to the university gardens. It was SO beautiful!

Oh Jena Jena Jena. We love you.
(Oh, and my children arent bums, they were already in pajamas. Just FYI:)

While we were packing and loading the truck the kids did this...
watched movies.
But it kept them quiet and happy while we could be busy.

Friday night was the big night. We all (without children) attended Rand's graduation. It was just really neat. Because its a church based school, the graduation was spiritual and uplifting. I totally want to get my masters from BYU now just to have such an awesome ceremony. I loved how they recognized and honored the married couples and the families instead of making them feel like they are crazy. Something I know...um...a little about :)

We were able to camp at this fabulous campground. It was quiet (most of the time) and I loved how there was grass! The bathrooms were right across the road which was nice for my...condition. They also had a really cool playground for the kids. And a pool, but we never got to explore that. Maybe next time (as long as we can fly there).

And finally, the truck was packed and we were on our way out of Idaho. This is the view we had for most of the 15 hours it took to get home.

Oh yeah, while we were at the gardens we heard a bagpipe. So I went searching for it and found it being played by a young man in this little building. I would have taken a longer video, but as you can see at the end, he turned and looked at me and I felt weird. Like, "Uh, yeah, hey...you dont know me but Im taking a video of you. (nervous laughter) go ahead, pretend Im not here....hehe...(turns and runs away).
Haha. Ah good times.
