Our Easter Saturday was busy this year!
We call it Easter Saturday because we do all the egg hunts, Easter bunny and baskets thing on Saturday, as to save Easter Sunday for the true meaning of Easter.
Since, you know, the Easter bunny has nothing at all to do with the resurrection of Christ :)
We started off with a ward Easter breakfast and egg hunt.

We started off with a ward Easter breakfast and egg hunt.
We had to wait a little while so they could hide the eggs so we hung out with some friends.
They split the kids into two groups, four and under on one and everyone else in another.
Caylee and Braelyn made out like little Easter bandits!
There were eggs everywhere.
I think they each got at least 20 eggs. Did I mention each egg was filled with candy?
Lots and lots of candy.
Since Alaina is only six and was put in a group with crazy candy hungry older kids, she only got a few eggs. But her sisters were happy to share.
After the ward party we headed over to one of Alaina's school friend's party.
They got to do lots of fun crafts,
like make bunny hats.
