Bret Hits the big 3-0

A couple weeks ago something crazy happened!

Bret turned THIRTY!!

Hes totally an old man now!

Well, he would be if he aged at the same rate as a normal human being.
But he doesnt, he actually celebrated his 22 1/2 birthday :)

On his actual birthday (which happened to be on Easter this year) we had some carrot cake and he opened a couple presents.
He got a waffle iron and Sherlock Holmes stories from my parents.

Because Nolan and Susan were visiting Rand and Carolyn over Easter, we had a family party for him the next week.

Alaina got him some pepperoncinis.

Eden made him a super fabulous card.

Wow, Bret is indeed tall :)

Braelyn got him a bunch of granola bars, Caylee got him some little tools and I got him some chalkboard paint.
He wants a giant chalkboard:)

Nolan and Susan got him a framing nail gun, which is just plain fun:)
And a huge heavy box of nails.

Jena brought back a Spanish to Italian book from Italy.

Caylee was a good helper with opening presents.

Bret wanted a pumpkin pie for his birthday so we had that and his Mom's awesome banana cream pie.
