Alaina started taking piano lessons from Emily about a month ago. It works out pretty well because we traded services, Bret is teaching Eden Spanish:)
Anyway, Alaina has been doing so great! Getting her to practice is sometimes a hassle, but once she gets going she does a great job.
Today she started practicing without me and I loved listening to her play.

She can play the first few lines of "I Am a Child of God".
I think this kid has some musical talent and Im excited that she loves piano. We went to Emily's recital the other night and Alaina really enjoyed watching all the kids play. I think she was inspired by them, and also by hearing her very own piano teacher play a few awesome pieces.

Well, musical talent runs in both families. I glad that she likes it. It's a good age to start.
Just LOOK at that beautiful hand position in the last picture. Ah, I think I might shed a tear due to my proudness!
