Growing

As the days have been getting warmer, I have been noticing a lot of new growth around the yard. Some of it good, some...not so good. It really started popping up after all the rain we had.

For FHE a few weeks ago we planted the seeds for our garden. We just put them in plastic cups we had because pots are so expensive! Turns out, the plants in the cups are growing way better.
We planted peas, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, pumpkin, watermelon and corn.
The peas and cucumbers are growing like mad crazy!
The pumpkin and carrots came up this week. Its so fun to watch them grow and the girls love it.

I was outside today playing with the girls when I looked around me, and saw so many pretty things blooming! We moved in during winter so its been fun seeing what grows as spring warms up.

I have no idea what any of them are, but they are pretty!

Then we have things like this....
I have no clue as to what they are. But they werent there a couple days ago and now they are.

And we have our fair share of dandelions.
The girls dont get that they are a weed and not a flower, so they love to smell them and pick them for Bret and I.

Heres the backyard in all its glory. Hmmm, maybe this will be next year's project:)
