A Visit to Grandma and Grandpa Moon

My Mom brought my Grandma Dill's old couches up to us (more on that later) and had to use my Grandpa Moon's big trailer to haul them up here. So while I was already half way there, we took the trailer back to California and got to stay for a short visit. It was great. I haven't seen them since my graduation and they haven't met Caylee yet. So it was a much needed visit.

It was about a six hour drive to Vista from Vegas. We were towing the trailer so we could only go 55 mph, stupid law. We were about 2 miles and 10 minutes from my Grandparent's house when Alaina says, "Mom, I think Im going to throw up." and then....she did. All over the place. Oh the memories.

But we got there and we were happy.

Here is my Aunt Carolyn (my Dad's older sister) with a tired Caylee.

My Grandparents have an awesome backyard, so thats where the girls spent a lot of their time. They had fun going down the hill...over and over.

Alaina is a little heavier.

Then because they have the Papa that they have, they got the wagon hooked up to the tricycle.

That was muy divertido.

Yes, Caylee is wearing a beanie in Southern California. The weather wasnt as nice as we'd have liked.

My Grandma and Caylee.

My Cousins Vanessa, Katie and Lacey with Vanessa's daughter Jordyn and Cay Cay.
She was the star of the show.

My crazy Aunt Kristie and Cay. The look on Caylee's face pretty much says it all!

A house full. Its really special because we dont get to see eachother all that often.

Braelyn was sad (because it was like 9:00 at night and she hadnt eaten yet) and the only person she would go to was my cousin Luke. It was really funny. Aunt Kristie wasnt too happy about that.

I really wish I could see these people more. I love them all.

The girls did so much driving on this trip and did SO good. They got antsy the last day for the last 200 miles or so. But for driving from Reno to Vegas, Vegas to St. George and back, Vegas to Vista, CA (down by San Diego) and Vista to Reno....they did amazing. Caylee by far was the best traveler.

That pic of wagon pulling is priceless. Now I want a picture retake with the girls in overalls and cowboy hats. Bahahaha! Don't know why that strikes me as funny, but hey, it does.
