Emily and I went to Apple Hill with our kids last week and got some fruit. One of the things we got was pluots for the purpose of making pluot jam. I have a wonderful woman in my ward who I love love love and she helped me can some peaches on Saturday and encouraged me to make jam. Emily and I tackled and conquered the jam last night. It was messy and sometimes painful, but in the end we got 5 jars of the most beautiful jam ever!

Here is our finished product. Pretty jars of pluot jam. Hopefully they taste as good as they look!

Ok so I totally thought you misspelled plum or something. I have never heard of a pluot but it sounds interesting and the jam looks amazing. You are completely welcome to send one our way.

I am with Kristen, I have never heard of a pluot either. The jam looks really good. I need to learn how to can one of these days.
