Bret and I met at the Institute of Religion and at church in the fall of 2002. We were friends for a long time. By the fall of 2003, we were in love and got engaged at a duck pond. We got married over spring break of 2004 in the Las Vegas Temple. Six days shy of our one year anniversary, Alaina came to us. We are grateful for her. Two years and two months after that, Braelyn came, loudly, into our lives. In April Caylee joined us and has brought even more joy into our home. We bought our first home and are working hard to make it ours. We have had a beautiful journey so far. Along the way we have met wonderful and unforgettable friends who we will always love and of course, our incredible families have been there for us always.
Jamie
Jamie is a wife and stay at home mom. She graduated from the university in December of 07 with two bachelors degrees and has been trying to keep busy ever since. Jamie loves her husband and thinks hes the best thing ever. She loves to listen to music, be outside, scrapbook, sew, read and watch good movies and TV shows. She also cant get enough of babies and animals. She has a devoted and never dying love for Jeeps, and will mourn the loss of her little green TJ until the day she dies. Jamie loves her little girls as well, even though they can be a lot to handle sometimes!
Did I Really Just Say That?
Don't hit your sister with that. We don't eat scissors. Because I said so. No you can't drive. Please don't eat your sister's toes. Can I have the knife please? Can I change your diaper? Lets read Clifford! Toilet water is not good for you! If you break it you cant play with it anymore. (What?) Don't put your hands in your pants. BRAELYN SUE REBEKAH GREENBURG!!!!!!! (yelling, very mad, regular basis) Don't throw potatoes at your sister.
Where is your underwear?
Alaina Lynn
Alaina is a little feisty, sweet child. She loves to DANCE! Its her favorite thing in the world. At any given moment in the day, she is probably dancing. Along with dancing, she sings, all the time...non-stop. She loves books, always has. Her first word was book as a matter of fact! She loves to be outside and isn't afraid to get dirty despite her girly disposition. Alaina is an exact replica, double, repeat, duplicate and clone of her mom. Its scary, really. There are a few small differences, like...shes affectionate, she likes princesses and pink and she doesn't like chocolate.
Alainaisms
When the wind rushes my hair, my curls fall out. If we cut down all the trees, then the man will say, "Where did all the trees go?" That looks like a shirt, or a bee. Jena- "So hows your life?" Alaina- "I don't have a life." I know you're a special guy. (to Daddy) Mommy, when I grow up and you want to play with me, then I will be little again. Thats really cool huh. Pretty neat. Mom, Im just so tired. Jamamas. (pajamas) I can how do that! (I know how to do that.) I want to chalk. PLEASE I MAY?! My nose spitted out.- On sneezing When I grow up can I wear your wedding dress? I just burped. I sound like a man. The temple is on the hill. Do you have any questions? I buckled it! I'm so proud of myself! Mommy I love you, I'm so proud you're home. When the dog is finished it eats. The sun smells yummy. Hick ups make us die. I just fell down and broke my head. Did you know Uncle Daniel is an Uncle? It smells like air in here. Um, Mom, I don't think you made this right. (On, generic Mac N Cheese) But Mom, Jesus doesn't want us to go scrapbooking. A- Where does President Hinckley live? J- President Hinckley is dead honey. A- Hey, he will live again!!!! I like her skirt, but I don't like her face. A-Daddy, who will I marry? D- No one. A- But who will I dance with? I want to be a doctor when I grow up. That (UPS) truck looks like chocolate with wheels. If I don't poke someone at the table, then I obey! Didn't you hear the song in Primary? Mom, did you know the wooden benches in dance class are made of wood? You should put that on your blog. Sometimes Mommy teaches me bad things. Yeah, it was good times. I was rocking Caylee and I sang the ABCs to her twice and she fell asleep. It was like magic.
Braelyn Sue Rebekah
Braelyn is a troublemaker. She is a little stinker! Man is she cute though. She can take all the Tupperware lids out of my drawer then smile at me and totally get away with it! She loves her Daddy and big sister. She follows Alaina around all day, which drives her poor sister crazy! Ever since Braelyn was a baby, she loved paper. Don't ask. Braelyn was colicky for the first three months, which was an experience, so we appreciate her laughs and smiles now. The very first thing I ever knew about Braelyn was that she is LOUD! If you know her, you know what I mean....loud, so very loud. The doctor pulled her out and I heard that cry and said to Bret, "I hope thats not her real cry!" Yeah...it was. Lucky us. Maybe she'll be an opera singer when she grows up. Braelyn also loves loves loves to be outside, anywhere, anytime. We love our little Braelyn.
Caylee Evelyn
Caylee is such a sweet little baby. She is a light in our lives. Caylee LOVES her sisters and likes to follow them around. She loves to make us laugh and does funny things all the time. She loves to eat, but wouldn’t be able to tell by her little size. Caylee is good at throwing things for fun and she loves to eat socks. They never stay on her feet. We love our Cay Cay and think shes a perfect addition to our family.
Dash James
Dash is the boy. When he joined our family it felt complete. He is spoiled :) He has three loving doting sisters ready to meet his every need. This boy wants for nothing. He is funny, well tempered and adorable. Hes a chunk of a boy and we cant get enough of the chubs and rolls. We sure love this boy.

I was simply meditating the profound statements I had been reading.
