Cutting the Christmas Tree

This year we went to Spooner for our Annual Christmas Tree Hunt.
Thats what we do on Black Friday :)

So we all bundled up and hiked up a mountain.
I was right behind them.
Like a crazy person.

After a while the kids got tired of hiking up a mountian with no sign of a nice looking tree, so they took a break on a sunlit hill.
The men went over the mountain to continue looking for the perfect tree.

Since it was taking a long time to find the said perfect tree, the girls got tired of playing on aforementioned sunlit hill, so we walked back to the cars for snacks.

Where we hung out waiting and eating until we saw this in the distance.

That would be Bret with a giant tree.
Then we waited another good while for Nolan and Susan's perfect Christmas tree.
Then we cut 50 feet off each one so they would fit in the truck.
And we took our perfect trees home :)
