Yes its true, the little ticker countdown thing is correct, we leave for our much anticipated and awaited trip tomorrow. No children, no cares....free as a bird:) Yes I will miss them tremendously, but they will have fun with all the wonderful people they are staying with and won't even notice were gone! (hopefully). Even Mommies need to get away from their full time job once in a while, and this is the first time for me since Ive been a mom:)
We are heading to Crater lake first, then to the Redwoods, then heading home and staying a couple places on the way back. We were going to go to Yosemite but since Yosemite is at risk for catching fire, we figured if we wanted to be engulfed in smoke, we could stay here. So we are no longer going to Yosemite...we are taking a different route home.

I'm so wishing I was you right now!!! Those pictures are amazing. My in-law's just went through that same route and took some great pictures too. Have fun and drive safe!
