While we were at my parents' house, Braelyn found a new love, Hoodlum, my parents ' cat. As soon as she saw him walk by she got so excited and let out a little yell. She wouldn't leave him alone the whole week. Hes a very nice kitty, but I think Braelyn was pushing his buttons. He stayed away as much as possible. The first night we were there Braelyn got him cornered in the laundry room. She was on all fours and they just stared at each other, a total showdown. Braelyn growled her normal happy Braelyn growl and Hoodlum freaked out, jumped over her and bolted. It was good times. She really does love the kitties though. My parents' other cat, Hummer, isn't so smart and didn't avoid Braelyn as well as Hoodlum. He learned real quick the dangers of a baby:) If my first cat, Homer, whom I brought home when I was six, was still around, he would have loved her as much as she loved him.
A test of love and true inspiration
