Alaina Turns 7!

I cant believe it but its true.
Alaina is SEVEN!

How and when did that happen?

It was a pretty fun birthday. It started with an early morning knock at the door that brought a whole bunch of Marshalls bearing balloons and DONUTS!
Alaina was beside herself.
So we enjoyed our donuts with friends then hurried to get ready for school.
(I think kids shouldn't have to go to school on their birthdays :)

Miss Al wanted carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting to take to her class. She wanted the frosting blue. Very blue. Im pretty sure she wanted carrot cake just so she could have the cream cheese frosting :)

Before we left we all lined up at each gave Alaina a hug (7 total).

Then shared a giant group hug!

While the birthday girl was at school, Braelyn made her a birthday banner. She wrote it all by herself and punched the holes for the string.

We had homemade pizza for dinner (Alaina's choice) and had a little family party.
She got lots of books and clothes, just what she wanted :)

We love us some Benny :)

Alaina chose Paula Deen's Toffee Butter Cake as her birthday cake. With strawberry ice cream.
It was crazy good. But she didnt like it, haha.

We love you so much Alaina! Were so blessed to be your parents and to have you as a daughter. You are sweet and helpful and funny. Our family would not be the same without you :)
