For Your Enjoyment

When I am pregnant, I look forward to seeing my new baby and holding her. I look forward to knowing her and her personality. I look forward to the years of joy she will bring to our family. There are very few things I dont like about having a new baby in the house...but the top of that list of things I dont look forward to...Breastfeeding.

Yeah yeah I know its good for the baby or whatever...which is why I do it for as long as I can. But holy cow, is it challenging (no pun intended). Here are some comics about breastfeeding from my favorite comic strip. Enjoy.
(I think you have to click on them to see the whole thing, sorry I don't know why I did that:)

I think all mothers who have breastfed or are breastfeeding a baby have gone through these things. Here's to being a cow!!!!

Oh my goodess!! Too funny!!
My sister in law just had a baby a few weeks ago and her older son is learning about breastfeeding too.
When she asked him if he wanted some milk he turned pale and yelled no! and asked his dad to help him!!
Loved the comics. Good luck with the milkin!

I ended up getting anemia again and felt like I was going to pass out every time I fed Michael, so I was ready to be done with breastfeeding last month. But, it's the sweetest thing in the world to be able to do this - I was surprised about how much I missed it after Elise! Michael is in and out in ten minutes and occasionally he'll give me a smile during a feeding, which is true devotion b/c that child loves to eat :) Thanks for the cartoons - they made me smile!

Not a cow!! A Dairy Queen!! I think we all love/don't like it no matter what anyone says. Bittersweet memories that go along with it I am not sure I would trade them though. Good luck with it!! I know I'll need it.

Happy 2nd Birthday Braelyn!! You're not going to be able to read this, but you're an adorable neice and we love your enthusiasm and cuteness :) Congratulations Bret on graduating - we wish we could be there to celebrate with you all!! How exciting to be done with school! Good luck with everything - we know you'll be very successful :) (and not just in asthetically ugly car repair, but I would be happy to provide a testimonial if needed) :) Have a fantastic day and know that we love you all and miss you!
