Im reading Beyond the River right now and I cant wait to finish it to tell everyone how much I love it!!! It is about the Underground Railroad and abolitionism. The men in this book remind me so much of Joseph Smith and the other great men who reorganized the church. It was even around the same time. Its all about men risking their lives and devoting all they have to a cause they know is right and is of God, if it be Joseph or John Rankin. Its a history read, which I never would have seen myself enjoying, but its captivating and educational. I love it.
